The Rosetta Resolver® Gene Expression Data Management and Analysis System provides a high-powered, flexible and extensible gene expression data analysis and storage environment.

From 1 to 400,000 Arrays and Counting  

In 1999, the Resolver system was built to support one of the largest gene expression laboratories in the world at Rosetta Inpharmatics. Since then, the system has continued to define the word scalable for gene expression data management and analysis.

The system is installed at numerous academic, government, biotechnology, agricultural, and pharmaceutical organizations worldwide. Applications of the system range from small organizations with data from a few hundred arrays, to top pharmaceutical companies with multi-terabytes of microarray data. Whether your organization has just begun or has outgrown other products, the Resolver system grows with your research. The Resolver system provides a central analysis center and repository for biologists, statisticians, and bioinformaticians to evaluate gene expression data.

The Resolver system provides a central analysis center and repository for biologists, statisticians, and bioinformaticians to evaluate gene expression data. Highlights include:

  • Data management and a data repository capable of growing with the research needs of your organization.
  • Built-in, standardized analysis methods, as well as the ability to create new methods or access public methods. The technology-specific error models in the system enable you to identify differences in expression even when the number of replicates is small.
  • Automated data import which enables you to quickly acquire expression data from multiple technologies, including those of Affymetrix®, Agilent, Illumina®, and GE Healthcare.
  • An analysis environment which allows advanced users to create analysis workflows and templates for novice users.
  • Cross-species and/or cross-technology analyses (e.g., comparisons of Affymetrix versus Agilent arrays, or optionally, qPCR versus microarrays).
  • Easy data exchange between internal or external collaborators, as well as with the FDA.
  • Support for data standards, such as CDISC/SEND (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium/Standard for Exchange of Nonclinical Data) format. The system is also MIAME (Minimum Information About Microarray Experiments)-compliant.
  • Support for 21 CFR Part 11 2000 compliance as validated by industry audits.
